The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has informed all clubs using the Tema Sports Stadium that it has been closed down with immediate effect.
A statement signed by Mr Kofi Nsaih, Secretary General the GFA, said the closure was due to a directive from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the National Sports Council because the walls are unsafe.
He therefore directed that second week Kinapharma League match between Liberty Professionals and Power F/C be shifted to the Koforidua Sports Stadium.
