One of the early contestants of the Ghana FA presidential elections Nana Yaw Amponsah has reiterated that Kwesi Nyantakyi can legally seek for a fourth term in office in 2019 insisting the incumbent can offer a lot for the game in the country.
President of Phar Rangers says attempts by some people in the media to prevent Nyantakyi is against the law of the elections of the GFA.
The CAF 1st vice president has repeatedly said he will not contest in the 2019 elections when his term in office ends after assuming office in 2019.
Members of Executive Committee of the GFA made an open declaration that they will force the astute football administrator to contest in the upcoming elections.
However, several football administrators and pundits have called on the Wa All Stars CEO not to seek re-election in 2019.
But the former FIFA player agent says Mr Nyantakyi can seek for a fourth term in office in 2019 insisting he has a lot of qualities.
"I think Kwesi Nyantakyi has done a lot for Ghana football," he told Metro TV.
"I don't think it will be fair to ask Mr Nyantakyi not to contest in 2019. He can legally seek re-election in 2019," he added.
