The 18-year-old was conspicuously left out of the initial 22-man squad released by coach Oti Akenteng which sparked a huge media storm over his exclusion.
The midfielder will join his teammates at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence in Prampram on Wednesday morning.
The national Under-20 team will play Italy next month before engaging the youth teams of Parma and Sampdoria.
Mumuni was named the Sports Writers Association of Ghana Premier League Player of Year for last season.
Despite his achievements he was shockingly left out of the Black Satellites team which he could potentially captain.
He played all 30 matches and picked one yellow card.
Mumuni was a member of the Ghana squad which won a historic All Africa Games gold medalist in Maputo, Mozambique.
This late inclusion brings to light the issue of how players are called-up into the youth national teams which has recently generated lots of debate.
