Played for Alemenia Aachen in the German Second Division from 2000 to 2003. He scored 38 goals in 67 league matches.
Baba, who stands 1.81 metres, also represented Division One Macabi Tel Aviv of Israel from 2003 to 2004. He found the net nine times in 16 league matches.
As a junior, he played in Ghana's National Under-17 team (Ghana Black Starlets) and scored 11 goals in 16 matches. He also netted the solitary goal in Ghana's 1-0 win against Togo in the Under-20 African World Youth Cup qualifiers in 2001.
Baba, who is said to be an aggressive player and good in aerial duels, last played for Kumasi Ashanti Kotoko in the Ghanaian league.
July 2009: 27 year old Baba Iddi has signed a one year contract (with option to a 2nd yr) with SC Lokeren after impressing on trials.
