Franklin Cudjoe, Founder and President of IMANI Africa, has dismissed claims that Richard Jakpa, the third accused in the Ambulance case, doctored a leaked tape involving him and Attorney General Godfred Dame.
In an interview on Citi TV/FM, Cudjoe expressed surprise at Dame’s conduct depicted in the tape, stating his belief in Jakpa’s account over the AG’s.
He criticized the AG for allegedly coaching Jakpa to fabricate a story to jail Dr. Ato Forson, the Minority Leader. This controversy has sparked calls for the AG's resignation.
Jakpa's legal team has applied to dismiss the charges or halt proceedings, which the AG contests.
