Former Health Minister Alexander Segbefia has called for Attorney General Godfred Dame to resign to protect the reputation of Ghana’s legal profession following a leaked tape involving Dame and the 3rd accused in the Ato Forson ambulance case.
Segbefia argues that the tape has damaged the legal profession's integrity and insists an investigation is necessary.
He questions why Dame spoke with the accused and believes the investigation cannot proceed properly with Dame in office.
Segbefia suggests that stepping aside would allow for a thorough inquiry to determine the tape's authenticity and any potential ethical or criminal issues.
