A Communication Member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has chastised critics who are condemning former President John Mahama for his recent comments on the ruling government's flagship programme, Free SHS.
The Presidential candidate of the NDC speaking at a meeting with the leaders of the Ghana National Council for Private Schools (GNACOPS) in Accra on Wednesday said, “within the first 90-days after I take office as the President of Ghana, I will call for the arrangement of a very broad stakeholder and consultative meeting on the way forward for a better free SHS.”
According to him, "the NDC shall ensure that all issues raised which are feasible and doable will be factored into the NDC manifesto”.
Eric Adjei during a panel discussion on UTV asked political pundits not to worry about "how the former President is going to achieve that because he has done it before."
