MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has presented documents to support his claim that Rock City Hotel operates at a loss.
This follows his opposition to the Social Security and National Insurance Trust's (SSNIT) sale of shares in four hotels to Rock City Hotel.
Ablakwa asserts that the hotel, owned by Minister Bryan Acheampong, reported expected losses to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) in 2021 and failed to file tax returns for 2022.
Ablakwa questions how the hotel obtained a tax clearance certificate for the bid and highlights irregularities in their tax filings following his exposé.
