Solomon Owusu, senior aide to Alan Kyerematen, has dismissed former President John Agyekum Kufuor’s endorsement of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the NPP's flagbearer, asserting that Alan Kyerematen's competence far exceeds Bawumia’s.
Speaking on Starr Today, Owusu defended Kyerematen’s earlier criticism of Bawumia’s economic management, calling it factual and not driven by bitterness.
He also questioned Kufuor’s endorsement, highlighting the former president’s lack of direct experience working with Bawumia compared to his history with Kyerematen.
“Dr. Bawumia’s competence does not come close to Alan’s,” Owusu emphasized, challenging the credibility of Kufuor’s remarks.
