Vice President and NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, paid a surprise visit to the party’s call centre in Asokwa, where volunteers are engaging voters ahead of the December 7 elections.
Joined by Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako and NSA Director General Osei Assibey Antwi, Dr. Bawumia inspected the operations, interacted with staff, and addressed the challenges they faced.
Chairman Wontumi briefed Dr. Bawumia, revealing that the team had reached over 20,000 voters and aimed to contact 1.5 million with the party’s message of hope.
Dr. Bawumia commended the team for their dedication and urged them to intensify efforts. In a symbolic moment, he personally called a voter, who expressed surprise and excitement over the interaction.
