Prof. Smart Sarpong, a Senior Researcher at Kumasi Technical University, has shared findings from his "Prove Me Wrong" survey, revealing that former President John Mahama is leading Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in nine regions ahead of the 2024 elections.
Speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo, Prof. Sarpong clarified that Mahama holds an advantage in nine regions, while Bawumia leads in seven, including the Ashanti, Western, Bono, Ahafo, Central, Eastern, and North East regions.
He emphasized that the outcome of the election will depend on the margins of votes each candidate secures in these regions, cautioning researchers against premature conclusions based on limited samples.
"The extent of gains in these regions will ultimately determine the winner," he noted.
