Security analyst Dr. Adam Bonaa has called for urgent action following the NDC’s claims of an alleged plot by the NPP to rig the December 7 elections.
The NDC accused Brigadier-General Michael Opoku, GOC of the Central Command, of using his Kumasi residence to store weapons and electoral materials for ballot-stuffing in the Ashanti Region.
Dr. Bonaa, speaking on *Morning Starr*, urged the Inspector General of Police, the Ghana Armed Forces, and President Akufo-Addo to address the allegations promptly.
“The military must reassure Ghanaians that such actions will not occur,” he emphasized.
He also called on National Security Minister Kan Dapaah and the Chief of Army Staff to respond.
Dr. Bonaa urged citizens to stay vigilant as the election approaches.
