John Dramani Mahama, NDC flagbearer, has criticized the NPP leadership for focusing on campaigning and making empty promises instead of addressing economic issues.
He argued that claims by NPP's running mate, Matthew Opoku Prempeh, that Akufo-Addo's achievements surpass Dr. Kwame Nkrumah's show a disconnect from Ghana's hardships.
Mahama urged the government to prioritize economic improvements over election promises, emphasizing that immediate measures could be taken to improve the situation.
He made these remarks during a visit to La-Bawuleshie and Mempeasem, highlighting the government's failure to understand and address the current economic crisis.
