Kofi Bentil, Senior Vice President of IMANI-Africa, has praised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's choice of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo) as his running mate for the 2024 election, calling it "spot on" for Ghana's current political landscape.
In a July 6 interview on JoyNews, Bentil highlighted Napo's extensive political experience and unblemished record, stating that his selection reflects strategic thinking and aligns with contemporary political demands.
Bentil dismissed claims of Napo's arrogance, attributing them to cultural differences in the perception of assertiveness.
He believes Napo's choice will bolster Bawumia's campaign and resonate positively with voters.
