Mahama must officially apologise to Kufuor for Dela Edem’s ‘unsavoury, distasteful’ attacks on Kufuor – Ernest Owusu-Bempah
Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah Bonsu, Deputy Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on former President John Dramani Mahama to issue a formal apology to ex-President John Agyekum Kufuor.
This comes after NDC communicator Dela Edem made offensive remarks about Kufuor's health.
While NDC National Communications Officer Sammy Gyamfi apologized on behalf of the party, Owusu-Bempah insists that Mahama’s personal apology would be more appropriate.
He warned that failure to do so would be seen as an endorsement of the disrespectful comments, potentially harming Mahama’s chances in the upcoming election.
