Former President John Dramani Mahama has expressed confidence that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) can secure a larger victory in the Greater Accra Region in the 2024 elections.
Mahama noted that while the NDC won the region by 76,000 votes in 2020, the goal is to increase this margin to 300,000.
He also emphasized the need to boost NDC votes in the Volta and Oti regions to counter the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s rising influence, particularly as the NPP aims for 300,000 votes in the Volta region.
Mahama’s comments came during his campaign tour in the Oti region.
