Former NDC National Chairman, Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, has challenged the NPP's claim of constructing 12,000 kilometers of roads nationwide, highlighting poor road conditions in Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s home region, the North East.
Speaking in Bunkrugu during a campaign tour with NDC Vice Presidential Candidate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Dr. Ampofo criticized Dr. Bawumia for neglecting his region's road infrastructure despite being Vice President for eight years.
He contrasted the region’s roads with the well-paved routes in Kyebi, President Akufo-Addo’s hometown, and urged residents to vote against the NPP in the upcoming elections.
He lauded John Mahama’s infrastructure achievements, calling on the North East to support the NDC for better development.
