Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, leader of the Movement for Change, has pledged to transform Northern Ghana into West Africa's food hub if elected.
During a visit to Tamale’s Paramount Chief, Gulkpe Na Alhassan Abdulai, on November 6, Kyerematen emphasized plans to leverage the Tamale International Airport for food exports, boosting the region’s economy.
He also promised to establish factories to process local crops, creating value for farmers. On job creation, Kyerematen assured that no graduate in Ghana would remain unemployed.
The Paramount Chief expressed his support, and the Movement for Change team will continue touring the region for the next four days.
