NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has proposed a 24-hour economy initiative to address Ghana’s financial and economic challenges.
During a live broadcast themed 'Mahama Conversations,' he explained that this initiative would create a conducive environment for businesses and government agencies to operate continuously, thus generating more jobs and improving living standards.
Mahama emphasised that the initiative would involve a three-shift system, doubling or tripling current job opportunities.
He highlighted benefits such as 24-hour services at ports, customs, the DVLA, agro-processing factories, manufacturing industries, and construction companies, aiming for efficient service delivery and well-paying jobs.
